The first source is the Glessner House by HH Richardson…look at the side entrance, with a mirror asymmetrical arched opening to the SF store by FLW. It is more so than Sullivan’s which, in any case, was influenced by Richardson’s

We all know FLW wasn’t the ‘greatest architect of all times’
