SANAA – Not So Conscious Inspiration
From eliinbar’s Sketch book 2011 – SANAA

Returned after a short vacation….
Here is an example for a “not So Conscious Inspiration”
A new hotel on the border of Italy-Switzerland ,a trendy building ….probably its source of inspiration is SANAA’s Zollverein School of Management & Design .
The hotel has identically sized windows on a straight horizontal line, like is common in most hotels .
To get the SANAA’s impressive Zollverein Schoolof Management window effect, They painted around the windows black squares in different sizes….
(See explanation sketch)
What do you think?
