The following quote, is from le Corbusier’s book “Towards an Architecture” ,published in 1923:
–
Extrusion is the touchstone of architecture
It distinguishes Art from Engineering
Extrusion is free of all constraint
This is not a question of conventions, tradition, construction method or even usefulness
Extrusion is a pure creation of the spirit, it needs a plastic artist

Le Corbusier ,in his book Towards an Architecture, presents to us the Pantheon‘s coffered dome ,as an example for an extrusion’s inspiration source
The Pantheon was built during the reign of Augustus in Rome ,Italy

–
Years after the Pantheon was built
The renowned architect ,Carlo Scarpa, was inspired by the coffered dome of the Pantheon
Here Is a typical detail from the Brion’s Family mausoleum ceiling, designed by Carlo Scarpa 1969-1978

of course like your site however, you have to take some of the spelling upon several within your posts. A few of them are usually filled having transliteration troubles and I still find it extremely annoying to tell the truth however Let me certainly come once again just as before.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot
about this, like you wrote the book in it or
something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the
message home a bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.
An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
