In this post I will share with you why I think Santiago Calatrava

Is a Conscious Inspiration Architect

Interesting to demonstrate the “conscious inspiration method” by tracking Calatrava’s career….

Calatrava’s education career:

1/ Sudied art as a child and originally planned to study art in college.

2/Studied architecture five years at ‘Escuela TÈcnica 1969-1974.

3/studied civil engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich1975-1979.

4/Doctorate in Technical Science from the Department of Architecture ETH Zurich1979-1981.

WE ARE A SCIENTIFIC  CIVILIZATION. THIS MEANS A CIVILIZATION WHERE KNOWLEDGE AND ITS INTEGRITY ARE CRUCIAL FACTORS. SCIENCE IS NOT MORE THAN A LATIN WORD MEANING KNOWLEDGE…” OUR DESTINY IS KNOWLEDGE”.

JACOB BRONOWSKI.

Santiago Calatrava’s work is inspired by the things he sees around him, momentary images and happenings
